Fred
Hammond Music and Verity Records' breakout female artist,
Joann Rosario, made her presence known with her strong
debut release, More, More, More, and is finally
set to return with her sophomore effort, Now More
Than Ever...Worship.
Aptly
titled, the album is all about unconditional and absolute
worship. It's a sentiment that provides the backdrop for
the album and is a distinguishable and ongoing theme of
Rosario's artistry and music ministry.
"Worship
is not an issue of tempo or grand lyrics but an attitude
of the heart, like a sincere prayer set to music,"
said Rosario.
The
summer release will feature top producers from both Gospel
and R&B worlds, including of course Rosario's mentor,
Fred Hammond; Gospel super-producer Donald Lawrence; multiple
Grammy and Dove award winner Michael-Anthony Taylor (TobyMac,
the Katinas); Alex Ward; noted R&B producers Steve
Huff and Ralph "Buttaz" Kearns.
Now
More Than Ever...Worship is a collection of worship
songs of all tempos. Rosario is responsible for writing
about 50% of the album's material and served as vocal
producer and arranger. This, an extremely personal body
of work, demonstrates her Gospel, Latin, and CCM music
roots.
